Stone Step Treads and Risers For All Climates

Here is a natural transition for the harsh out doors. This custom remodel required a minimal maintenance surface that looked natural and acted natural in a harsh winter climate. GratedeX® fit the bill. The design had certain complexities in layout and stepped transitions. The contractor was able to cut and fit the GratedeX® outdoor flooring to fit these conditions. Railings were pre-installed to the top of the joist framing. The GratedeX® panels were cut and placed. For finish, the contractor and customer used a product called Fossil Stone™ from AM Slate for its stable freeze-thaw properties as well as its natural beauty. A beautiful complement to a contractor's design-build portfolio.
