So what does set this deck underlayment system apart? It's the simplicity of creating the ancient beauty of stone decking in outdoor living spaces that wouldn't normally support the weight of a stone deck material. So let's take it a step at a time. STEP 1:

remove old decking material deck boards

and inspect the existing wood framing for structural integrity. Be sure the structure is ready to support a new deck material. No additional framing is needed in most cases since the GratedeX® Outdoor Floor System™ is a light weight deck flooring even with the stone deck or tile deck finish. Now STEP 2:

attach the new GratedeX® deck underlayment

to the framing. How hard could this be. The GratedeX® decking underlayment panel has been designed specifically for this application. It's a dimensionally true 48"x48" high quality fiber reinforced plastic decking material that is secured to the framing with specially designed Bite-Tite® SS fasteners and screws. Place it, cut it as necessary and screw it in place. And for additional strength, glue the panels together edge to edge with our Weld-Tite® adhesive. Solid, stable and secure. And if your not ready to resurface yet, no problem. This decking material is UV stable and ready to walk on. But why wait? let's dress it up. STEP 3:

outdoor room with a solid outdoor floor. Get creative! Select the stone or tile of your choice from your local supplier. They will be able to suggest materials suitable for your area. Pick a layout pattern, apply the Hold-Tite® adhesive to the back of the material and set it in place onto the GratedeX® decking underlayment. Use tile spacers to ensure uniform spacing. No grouting so the water drains through to the surface below. And you are done. Best of all there's still time left in the day. STEP 4:
